Hi all, was just reading around the site to see if I could figure out why my water is sooo cloudy sad.gif

just realized based on some of the posts by Toothless, that I dont have nearly enough filtration.

I am running an aqua clear 50 (200gph) on my 36 gal bow front. I decided to buy another one and put it on the other side of the tank, but it is 47$ at Pet-Co sad.gif

Thanks to some links by Toothless I found Dr. Smith & Foster's site. smile.gif

I bought the filter there for $21 (plus $8 shipping). biggrin.gif

Thanks soo much, you guys are all sooo great. I hope I am now on my way to cleaner waters hi5.gif

Congrats! I have a similar set up and I love having two filters, there isn't nearly as much poop floating around.

Good! I am glad that some of the stuff that I have written has helped more than just the intended member. wink.gif I think that is why I take so much time to explain things in detail..... wink.gif

Thats also good that you are taking the time and care to research your own set-up and making improvements where you find it needs it. It says a lot about a person that they strive to take the best care they can for their pets and companions..... biggrin.gif
