I have a pond in the back of my house. It gets 13 to 15 hours of light, excpt for one corner that get maybe 5 hours of light in all after that it dark in that corner. Now i'm trying to get the hole thing to be organic ( so like the fishes can eat the plant and the plant to keep the algea and ph in good poramiters). also i will be trying to invest in a heater and pump to keep it from haveing a still water pond!

I had water lettuce and water hyachen, sorry not sure how to spell that, in my pond. They actually throw out shoots and make babies and so on and so on. I actually would have to throw some away I would get so much. and I got these from my Mother in law who had to much. I guess the one will actually flower but did not have mine long enough for that I guess.

Hornwort is also a very good pond plant as it floats-offers shade to the fish, and it also helps eat Nitrates etc. in the pond.

Water lilies! I love water lilies in a pond, and there are all different sizes available, so you can get the size to suit your pond. They also come in a variety of leaf and flower colours
