ok so i went to wally world to return a 1 gal tank i bought for one of my betta's that was cracked and was gonna get some peas for my goldfish. well i came home with two tanks, two bettas, no peas

i so wish they wouldn't have made a super wal mart in our town, i'm gonna have a room full of bettas

HAHA I would hardly call even 10 bettas too many, I know people who have 40+, and those are the outrageously priced breeding stock from aqaubid. Nah, one can never have too many bettas!

(And to let you know, no, Mr. Smooches is perfectly fine with his lovely opaque freckled fins!)

thanks everyone i'm sorry about your fish bubbles, i have a sick betta too right now so i know how you feel. i'm glad the freckles are normal, i saw a blue one like that too. yea red was pretty mad! he's a mean little betta, even after as long as i've had him he still flares at me for just looking at him

Nah...you can never have too many. Obviously my mom thinks other wise though. I have three, and I wanted a fourth... but she was like "You have too many already"... Mr Smooches is a very beautiful betta!!!!!!

you can never have too many fish. However, watch smooches. I had a white betta once get ich in a divided tank. before I realized he was sick (because the nodules blended into his color), the entire tank had serious ich and was wiped out.

They are both very pretty - I especially like Smooch's coloring, he looks like a strawberry! No, of course you can never have too many fish!
