Just bought some hornwort. I heard that goldies eat hornwort but so far mine havent touched the plant. Is it because they're too small (about 2 inches long) or the hornwort is unpalatable?

Hmm i never tryed. But Some goldies are diffrent. Some will eat one type of
plant.And others wont.

i have found that my goldies will eat it. but then mine eat anything. i think it does differ for the type of fish you have. My ryukins love the stuff, but the rest of them dont touch it.

I got a ranchu, a black moor, a pearlscale & 2 fantails. i thought the ranchu would ravage the plant cos he's the greediest but so far none of them even touch the thing
