Anyways, what do you all think... there is this new fish store that is giving away "free Bettas while supplies last" and I walked in (OK store, terrible customer service ) and saw the last of the Bettas they were giving away. Probably because they were like huge (not sure how old they were) and in terrible water. A couple looked OK as they were flaring at each other like crazy.

I have a spare 1 gallon tank here, and I'm thinking of going back tomorrow and doing a rescue. Do you think that is a good idea and would you do it? Thanks

I probably would. If the fish were being taken care of, and you weren't supporting anything horrible, I would save the fish.

Darn, so they are closed Tuesdays, I just got back have his new tank ready and all... lol. Well, I'll go back tomorrow, hopefully there will still be more dudes left Wish me luck
