I have a new golden (albino) bristlenose, Flex. He's a real cutie but is tiny. He seems very active in the coldwater set up, I acclimatised him over several hours, but I was wondering if being in coldwater will affect how quickly he grows. I know they don't get huge, but I would like him to get a bit bigger so that he's easier to spot! So my question to those of you with them in coldwater, is how quickly has yours grown? Also are they ok on their own or do they like a bit of pleco company?

I've only had mine a couple of months in cold water, 18C/68F, and they have grown quite a bit. Mainly got fatter I think.
They are not concerned for other bristlenose company as they are territorial critters. I have 2 and they are in separate tanks, it also allows them to get plenty of algae each.
