ok, so here are some Picts of the guys I picked up recently! And I named them after Race Horses and/or Jockeys

Heres Arcaro, the guy who had his tail chopped, He's teal with a black head-



And this is Almost Alpo- aka Al, because he sat on the shelf for months untill i thought he was going to die from stress, now he's bright and happy He's light yellow and grey-



Swaps, a gorgiose silver guy with maroon irradescents! Its hard to explain his colors! Im atemping to grow some dracnis (sp?) aka lucky bamboo in his tank-



And some better pictures of my looker, Tequilla Sunrise (not named in the thoroughbred theme )-

Pretty! And wow, his tail was really clean cut off. Poor thing! That second one is going to be quite a looker when he gets fatter.

Hopefully! Im kinda thinking he may be a mustard gas

They're all so cute! Poor Arcaro's tail I'm glad he got to come home with you. I just love Tequilla Sunrise what a beauty!

Poor Al, do you mean he sat in the store for months and no-one bought him? It's a wonder he survived. At our lfs the weekly betta shipment is sold out in a couple of days, guess they're becomming the latest craze over here.

Wow! Love the colors on the Tequilla!

We get 50 bettas every time we sell like 40 of our last batch. So we ALWAYS have bettas in stock. (their on automatic order, so we couldnt stop them if we tried! like when they sent us all the bettas and no cups to keep them in! So we stored them in party cups, for 2 weeks! (with screens ont he top to prevent jumpers) and they just kept coming! 4 ORDERS WORTH!!! @_@)

So the "ugly" ones sit there.... and we clean the bowls 3 times a week, and only week them every other day... (we found if we feed then everyday, they more stressed ones dont eat all of it, and it makes the water bad ) So actually, a guy, if he could handle the stress, could prolly sit on the shelf for the rest of his sad days.... thats when I usualy take them home.... theres another one thats been there a while, with a beige head and red fins.. not attractive, but I feel bad for him! but Im full up.
