Today I made a new tank for my two goldfish. It is a very large 50 gallon that I've tried to make as natural as possible for them.
Some big rocks and driftwood, natural sand and plants. More plants wil be bought smile.gif

A good filtration must keep the water clear. I put two Eheims on it 2213 and 2211.
I hope the water clears soon.

I'm so happy for them. But they need it because I really want a little lionhead in it.
My old tank was a bit too small.

Its gorgeous! Wow. The only concern I have is to watch the sand to make sure it doesnt bother their gills. Still...wow. I cant wait to see it with fish.

biggrin.gif Congrats! New "Bigger" tanks are always awesome!!! Just watch your PH on it.Driftwood has a tendancy to lower your PH.Are you doing a fishless cycle before you put them in? If not,be sure and add your old filter to the new tank to aid in cycling it. Good Luck-it's looking great! cool.gif

It is a kind of rounded sand that has a bigger size than normal sand so it won't bother their gills wink.gif I hope. crap.gif

I will let it cycle fishless for a week and the old Eheim is still on the small tank. I will put it on without cleaning to keep the bacteria alive smile.gif To prevent a PH drop I put a small peace of calcium in the tank. I will check the PH for the next week to prevent a drop.

I will put some of my mountain minnows in to get the filter working well. But first I want it to get clear, at the moment it's still a bit cloudy.
