Okay, the filter in on one side of my tank. I want to put dividers in it for Bettas. If I were to put a rubber or plastic tube over the end of the intake tube and run it along the back to the other side of the tank, would that help with circulation so the whole tank gets filtered?

Hold on. Let me draw a picture.

The stupid thing was too big. It won't work. Sorry.

I keep an Aquaclear in the Middle of my divided 10 gal. Betta tank.It seems to keep the water pretty clean, and seems to flow throughout the whole tank.

How many Bettas do you have in it? I'll probably put 2 or 4 in my 10gal.

I just used a UGF in my 10 G betta tank. I had 3 of 'em in there, so I used a splitter that hung on the back of the tank. Had the 2 outputs on the outside ones, and ran a bubble stone to the middle one.

If you're a handy person there are some absolutlly terrific DIY Betta Tank dividers that you could do and still ensure good filtration.
