We have a red betta called Tai

and 3 lil albino cory's living in our 10 gallon tank now...and boy are they sweet

Quick question re food:

I have algae wafers and catfish pellets for the corys
and tropical flakes, freeze dried tubifex and freeze dried bloodworms for the betta. (and the goldies lol)

They'll also be getting fresh fruit and veg....anything else?

Dont feed too much flake to the betta, try to get specially made food for him. The corys will love the bloodworm too.
Congrats on the new fish

Went to Toronto two week ago and visited a few local fish store.

They have very nice and cute goldfish there.

Their stores have reseasonable price, while other do not.

I had to bring a home a few with me even though it was a ten hours drive.

I also saw some exotic fish this for $3400 each. I was willing to paid half but no sale.

Maybe next time!

Congrads on the new fishies! I looked at bettas yesterday also and was so upset I couldn't get one because I have no running water right now *sniff* They had the most beautiful ones too!!! (bright solid reds, white with pale purples, emerald green/red butterflies..... *sigh*) So pretty

Congrads on the cories too! I finally found them uptown around here but I have to wait for running water and such again -_- Heh, actually I have to wait until my 10 gallon is cycled as well. LoL

so the lil guys on worms till i track some down.....he quite likes them tho thankfully

And the corys......any food is game, lil piggies!!

I never had any luck with the betta food LoL. Only the first one I had would eat the little pellets. The others would touch nothing but the freeze-dried bloodworms, even if I tried to give them pellets before the bloodworms * sigh* LoL Such picky eaters!

Just had the rest of the school 3 more (should've been 4 but one was missing on arrival lol so will pick that one up on friday) Albino cories! Don't think Tai's over impressed with the racy white things, but the catfish are sure happy

wow! half the price of ours i think. mine were 2.49 gb pounds each, Tai was £5 and the goldies were about £4.

i haveabout £30 worth of fish lol!

I keep forgetting the price bettas at Petco and the lfs. At Wal-Mart they are almost $4 (males & females are both priced at that -_-). Common goldfish are normally 10 for $1 and the more fancy types are a little more (but I've never really checked the prices). My little froggies were $1.99 each (better than Wal-Marts $4 each o.0)
