i want to get some plants for my aquarium to enhance the look. it thought about getting live plants, but since i salt the tank time to time it makes no sense in getting them. are there any particular plastic plants you recommend? anything that looks like the real thing????

I've used Aquascaper & Penn-Plax plastic plants, they're quite good. I've got one more that's very nice but forgot the brand.
I think for live pants, Java Fern is pretty hardy & low maintenance(got a few to complement my plastic ones)

The silk plants generally look really good. The only problem I've seen with them is that either they tend to grow more algae, or the algae shows up easier on them.
As far as plastic plants go, just look for something you like. The ones with more and bigger leaves tend to look better underwater--more like they're thriving. Just my opinion.

Even though I do have plastic plants,I so much prefer the look of silk plants. They're a little more costly, but in the end they look so much better. Now a days, they have them to where they look so real. With Plastic plants, you have to watch out for sharp edges & such-so your fish aren't able to hurt theirselves on them.
