Most crabs will lose their claws from fighting,or stress.Usually when they molt, new claws will grow back. They need lots of hidey holes. As for both claws dropping at the same time... unsure.gif tell you the truth...I don't know.I know I bought Hermit Crabs before & one dropped both their claws from stress, and didn't make it. sad.gif I'm not quite sure just how long regrowth takes. As I mentioned in your other thread-look for info on Sesarma bidens ,or Perisesarma bidens, and see what info you can come up with for that problem.Good luck, hope the little crab makes it. smile.gif

I honestly don't know enough to tell you why this happened, but as for eating I guess you could feed her really soft food that she can stand on and sort of bend down to eat blink.gif Maybe some brine shrimp or algae pellets?

Crabs often lose their one of their claws from fights, but losing both is really odd.

I know it's wierd... the ppl at the pet store said she'd live on her own and not worry about trying to feed her myself that my crabs may just have been breeding... but I think that's doubtful cause I haven't had them long... they'd still be stressed, no?

good luck with that, i have to say it is odd.
