I was just wondering, of all the brands of spirulina flakes I have looked at, "spirulina" seems to be waaay down the bottom of the list of ingredients...which I have been led to believe, the further down the list the ingredient gets, the less of that is actually in there. Am I right? Anyone know a good brand I could try?

Also, has anyone fed their goldfish Julian Springs Sea Veggies (seaweed I think) blink.gif Is it ok to feed to goldfish?

Oh and just 1 more thing...is feeding once a day enough?

Just wondering thats all.

Thanks

If you have a larger tank (approx 10g for each fish) you can feed them twice a day, as much as they can eat in 2 minutes. If you only wish to feed them once a day, allow a good 5 minutes eating time.

If your fish is in a 6g or smaller I would only recommend feeding once a day, as much as they can eat in 2 minutes. This is simply because more food (and poop) than that amount will quickly foul your tank and cause problems.

I have used both Nutrafin and Tetra brand of spirulina flakes, both are good.
