I want to put my four male Bettas in my 10 gal (when it becomes avalible), but I'd rather not buy dividers. Does anyone know how to make good dividers?

I have read that some have used report cover binders and glued them to the sides of the tank with aquarium sealant and then get a piece of plastic aida for needlecrafts from the craft store and slide that down in the binders. You might check out some of the older threads under DIY and Tip of the month to get some more ideas too. Good luck!

I read about that on another site, and it confused me. It didn't make much sense.

Hi Anic,
Here are some pretty good diy instructions on the tank dividers. See if this will help you. They look really good to me.

That was the site I saw it on. I kind of want to make the other ones, but I'm afraid that they'll hurt themselves if they can see each other.

10 gallon tank dividers are available (from several vendors) at any well-stocked petstore. The partition I own is clear screened plastic. The screening is necessary to facilitate the flow of water across the barrier (especially if the filter is located on one side of the partition). The partition has small metal clamps to lock both ends in place on the lip of the tank frame.
