Full Version: What Kind Of Pest Snail Is This?!?
I found some pest snails in Pokas tank (forgot to de-snail the plants >_<) I plan on keeping them with my other pest snails that Smack sent me (only one is left) I found some odd ones. thier pointy. well, triangular. the shell is cone shaped. its hard to explain. anyone have any idea what kind they are? odd part is, sometimes they go above the water, like they need air.

Sounds like they're Physa Acuta's.How's the Water readings on that tank?Snails will be the first ones to let you know when something's not reading right. Does it look like one of these?Pest Snail

how would i take care of them? The same as rams?
From what I just read about them you would take care of them the same as any other snail. They lay transparent eggs, they breathe air and water... Good luck!
