I was at the store looking at the shrimp. The package of frozen salad shrimp has sodium listed in the ingredients. I asked the lady at the fresh fish counter about the fresh shrimp and she said all the shrimp, fresh and frozen has been salted. So what about feeding this to the goldies. If I rinse it really well? I don't know exactly how it is salted or how much. What do you think?

rinse, lather, and repeat always repeat
if salt was poured over it just defrost it in water, I see no problem in that

That's what I thought, I just wanted to make sure. Most likely it was rinsed in a salt solution to help preserve it.
