I know that some people use salmon in their gel food, so yes, I guess they can eat it. If feeding it to them straight, just feed a teeny weeny bite.

i fed them some, and they actually love it, and now they have gone to sleep!! SO CUTE!

I bet they gobbled it down. Only little bits at a time because it's very high in salt content. (should have mentioned that earlier)

Oooh, while im in this forum, does anyone know of any other types of fish I can feed my babies? Like, Cod , Scampi, and like sea stuff

I know that the gel food recipe I use has tuna in it. But putting the stuff straight from the can into the water would be messy! But I'm guessing that they can have a teeny bit of the real tuna (the steaks, instead of the can).

Too much salt in their diet can make them retain water and get bloated.
