The other day I fed my fish some orange and nothing after. You know orange looks the same coming out so there was no denying the poop that followed was orange but then later that evening my girl started pooping this very rigid somewhat thinner brown poop. It looked like the driftwood in her tank. unsure.gif Do you think this could be harmful? I would hate to lose a fish to intestinal splinters or something strange like that.

I always said goldfish are anythingthatstopsmovingivores but this is ridiculous!

Definitely. I am leaving for 4 days and non fish people are taking care of our pets. I think I will remove it while we are gone.

I know that plecos eat driftwood but I don't think goldies can digest it. Unless there was a chunk of it that was loose and the goldie just sucked it off and ate it. huh.gif

That's what I keep thinking. I have seen nothing else like it since. It seriously looked like she was pooping a stick. It was so rigid and colored the same as the drift wood. Leave it to my little nut to present me with yet another mystery/dilemma. rolleyes.gif She is just like having a baby sometimes.
