Would pest snails or baby rams and such make a good occasional goldie snack? Or would a shells be too hard to digest. You all talk about your goldies eating pest snails, so I was wondering if there would be any good effects, protein or such?

those small pest snails cost ten cents a peice at the lps.... would it be bad to by a bunch and let them grow and lay eggs in my tank so my gf will always have something to munch on....

Or do I NOT want this to happen????

BTW, I do not have any live plants, but someday I want to buy a bunch of Java fern online.
