Hi all, My mom bought me some lucky bamboo (I'm sure it's lucky, not normal)today and I just wanted to know if I should take any precautions, like say; how do I put it in, do the leaves have to be outside the water, should I clean it, and so on..
Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I just want to be sure of what I am doing.
P.S: The plant will be in a 40 gal. with fast flowing water.

I've heard that the leaves rot away if submerged for a long period of time. Others have the leaves submerged with no problems.

I prefer not to take the risk, but it's up to you!
