i was wondering, how long can a bubble nest stay Un-popped??
and is it possible to move it ??

I am not sure how long the bubble nest stays around. I am presuming long enough for all the eggs... I have seen mine keep one for a while, although I cannot remember the exact amount of time.
You could probably very gently move the nest in the tank, just across the water and that's it.

Hmmmm, that is a good quesiton

. My betta always has a nest, but I clean his bowl at least once a week so it always gets washed down the drain. I think they could possibly last a really long time.

I have wondered what makes those bubbles keep. Occasionally, I see some clear material floating and I have wondered if that what it was from.

no, when they make bubble nests, they excreet the bubbles through thier gills, which gives it a mucus coating, which means that it goes un - popped for a good long time!

Eactly Tink. On average my boys nests will last a week if not disturbed by water changes.

Donkey's nest usually last a good while too. I feel soooo guilty when I pour it down the drain!

He works so hard on it! But a day or so later he gets busy building another one.

yes, they are quite good at keeping them going! i feel so bad about popping Dudes, but he makes them again withing a few hours.
