Here are the pix of the new pond ive been promising!!!!!!! I wanted to make sure I posted them tonight, and it was alittle dark, but you can still see most of it. LOL, i'll take more pix in the morning so you can see it during the day light.

I like the lil waterfall on it.Have any fish in there yet?

the bachelors buttons look nice next to the pond, and I see you have a spot light so that you can enjoy it all at night. Very nice! Looking forward to a daylight shot!!!!!

Thanks everyone! The flowers really added a nice touch to it. There are a TON more flowers and vines all around it, but its kinda hard to tell at night. Also, there is a GIANT bonzia next to it, but you can only see a few branches peeking into the pix. That pix kinda made it look small, maybe its just cause its at night.

Right now there are 5 fishies in it. My lovely Shubbie, and 2 calico koi and 2 red and white koi. They are very very happy in there! Although its like a 650 gallon pond, i dont think i'll be adding any more fishies. I want them to get nice a big in there, and have lots of room for themselves.

Your making me want a pond too.
Do you have to cycle them?

Yes, you do have to cycle them. I bought a really nice biological filter for it, and have also been using some biospira I bought from the pond shop I frequent. They cycle is coming along very nicely, and pretty fast. Im suprised. I thought it would take weeks before I started to see anything.

Yeah it is pretty peaceful out there. I'll get a better pix of all of it. We have a nice fire pit right by there, and I bought ryan this nice hammack, that was acctually right in front me, but I leaned over it, so it wasnt in the pix. It is so nice to sit out there at night, with the fire pit going, just looking at the stars and the fish.

yes, im sure its a 650.. its dark out, and the pix makes it look really small.. I'll get a better pix of it later.. LOL... when i got looking at the pix, I noticed it made it look pretty small as well.. but believe me, its NOT as small as it looks! Its also pretty deep as well.

Oh and thanks... Can you believe I got most of that landscaping done Monday?? I spent from 9am to like 10 pm working it straight.. and got most of it done that day... I really like it. It will look awsome when the scotch moss grows all over the river rock!

What a wonderful place to sit and relax. You really worked hard on that and it came out beautiful, I love the barrel!
