I have never heard of any proven food to grow head growth quickly... there may be some food that claims to but I don't think it could really be proven.
PS: I just did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

Probably a food with a lot of protein, since I think that's what makes their headgrowth grow.

Miggi,
i take it that your talking about Oranda's Wen of head growth right ??
well if you are, all oranda's wen grow slow and fast when they are youngings, tho it make look small it will grow in time..you dont need to give them special food to make it grow faster.
i hope i wrote this right....

I'd have to disagree. When they're young you should be feeding them much more protein. The protein is good for their wen growth.

alright. Because i know there is food that says 'for headgrowth' but doubt it worked and was just a marketing gimmick.

Well, I'd guess that the Hikari brand food for lionheads or orandas is good, but you'd have to learn from experience. I think that if you feed it protein, keep its water quality perfect, and with enough room per fish, their wens should grow well.

it's more about the stress level that a fish has atleast in my honest opinion, if you look at bubble eyes with very large bubble they're usually not stunted at all
