I have a baby fish that was just born while i was on vacation and i am wondering what kind it is becuase i have one male guppy, 3 female platies, and 2 female mollies! One of my platies was spermed a couple of weeks before i left, adn still looks pregnant? Is it hers? The baby fish is dark dark gray, almost black with a white underside, with a black stripe down the underside? Any ideas on what kind it is?

I have no idea what kinda of fish it might be, but it sounds cute!!!

It takes about a month for a fish to complete the cycle of pregnancy, so two weeks would be too fast.

Did you have any other fish in the tank before you left? Maybe you had a little baby hanging out that you didn't see.

Will they baby fish hide in the marbles becuase maybe it was there and when i got back it was there becuase it is about an inch to 2 inches! It might have been!

yes, the fry would hide when they approach predators.

If the fry was that big, then it must have hidden down in the marbles
