Im currently treating my Oranda with Swim Bladder Treatment as she was always hanging on the surface by her tail and finding it difficult to swim to the bottom. Since this morning she's sitting on the bottom constantly. I THINK it may be the water parameters.

20 UK gal tank with 2 fish.
Ammonia 1.0
NitrIte 0.1
NitrAte 10
pH 7.4
Temp 75

She's breathing normal, eating normal, havent seen her poop yet and has no nasties on her body. I also do a 10 - 20% water change weekly.

I have a bottle of Ammonia Remover here which is fantastic but im not sure if im to use it whilst using the Swim Bladder treament. I know a water change should be done now but that would mess up the whole treament. Any idea's would be great smile.gif

Yes I do think the water quality is effecting the fish.
What are you treating the fish with?

Water quality is the best thing to help a fish, so I wouldn't worry about any type of treatment going before water quality, without good water you have a sicker fish on your hands.
