just want to know how to attach a plant on driftwood...i currently got elastic-band over the roots so it will grow onto it...?? will this work..??

need help plz

thanks
Fantail
You can use fishing line to tie it, i'm not sure of any other methods however, i just know of this one.

Is the elasti-band tight?
Marco
nope, i dont want to strangle the plant...lol

The elastic band will work, as will just plain thread or thin yarn. As fantail mentioned, you can use fishing line.
Marco
ic.. well im using the elastic method..hopefully it will start to grow on now unsure.gif

It should. The roots are black and thread like smile.gif

Try using a cotton thread... it will be eventually biodegraded and by that time the roots of your Java ferns or Anubias will have anchored themselves to the driftwood.
mellowr
apparently it takes anywhere from 3 - 6 months 4 anubias to fully attach itself.

Ditto Marco - I think it will take at least a few weeks... Good luck! smile.gif
