So I was looking for more fish food on-line and when i checked the omega one fish flake section I found "first flake" it supposedly removes stress for new fishes added to the comunity... should i by it?...

I'm planning to give it to my future fries, a stress free fry is the fastest growing laugh.gif

You can try it out and see how it is. And tell us if it is good or not.

I was hoping to get an opinion though... it's 3 dollars per ounce really pricey crap.gif
Fantail
3 dollars per ounze? OMG, that is so expensive. So are you gettin it?
maniacholic
no idea... maybe when my goldfish starts to breed... perhaps I'll hand breed the demkins since they're kinda blind I wouldn't want them to get hurt...

actually if I but the bulk sizes it'll be almost 10 dollars per pound so maybe I'll get that... "good for stress" ain't bad at all, but when will I ever finish 10 pounds?
Fantail
Well, if it is 10 pounds, it may expire, which is even worst than the smaller pack. How does food reduce stress?
kortniee
Geez... any more expensive and it'd be cheaper to feed them cannabis.

I supposed that would make them paranoid, though, which wouldn't do too much to cut down on stress... biggrin.gif
Fantail
I wonder if goldfish can get high from cannabis... I don't think they would appreciate that... rofl3.gif

It's a type of food that has alot of omega 3&6 fatty acid, which alot of other food lacks, and when a fish is stressed it usually refuse to eat, so this food can give a quick boost to the fat reserved.

that's what I found out after my research on it.
Fantail
O, i see. So does it reduce stress or prevent it?
maniacholic
no idea I couldn't find much other info

I'm gonna need to test out like a few ounces then tell you guys...

Hmmmm....., My Moor seems like it could benefit from this because, it seems pretty mellow just sitting (or swimming) around the tank floor, and not really trying to eat. sad.gif , I think I want to buy this, but I don't where to look. huh.gif
maniacholic
since you may need it the most... u try it laugh.gif
kortniee
I say go for it. I'd give the whole paycheck for happier fishies! (And I often do...)
Fantail
Yes, tell us if it works or not.
David Dude
lol, ok guys, I'll try it but where can I buy this stuff?, a regular petstore or what. blink.gif , I'll try petsmart to see if they have any. wink.gif
maniacholic
u won't find it at any regular pet store, and most stores may carry only a few items of one brand, so i suggest you order it from here http://www.aquatichouse.com/
David Dude
R u positively sure thats the only place I can find it at?, I just want to know because It's gonna be kinda hard to convince my mom to buy it fo me online. krazy.gif , she's a little skeptical with these things. crap.gif
maniacholic
I don't think it'll be bad... but honestly I haven't ordered from em yet...
