I've been feeding my fish small nutrafin max sinking pellets for a while. But I was wondering if my larger fish were getting enough food so I also bought large omega one sinking pellets. I think they are great...they smell good enough to eat!

My problem is they are so slow to dissolve! Even if I soak them, the outside gets mushy and the inside stays hard. Has anyone else had this problem? The fish end up picking at them for about a half hour before they are gone. I guess that's not a bad thing, but the back of the jar they are in says as much as the fish will eat in 2 minutes, none of my fish could ever eat one of those hard things in 2 mins! I'd like to switch over to feeding those exclusively, but right now I only give them every few days because it's so much work for the fish to eat them!
