I just bought a UV filter for my pond to take care of the suspended algae problem. Is there anything else that the UV filter will kill as it passes through?

If you bought a good uv sterilizer, it should handle some bad bacteria and parasites. However, this is not to say things will be bug or bacteria free..... They are part and parcle of fish and there invironment and stress is the major key player for those to get a grip on the fish! The best thing is no pea soup!
