Dont you just LOVE bettas little noses? thier turned up like as if to say "Arent I pretty? Prettier than you!" It makes them look eccentric! I LOVE it! it makes em speical and unique! Aww. I love everything about bettas! Thier all diffrent, like goldies!

EDIT: and its special because they breathe air. Thier gills are under developed. those are labbyrinth fish. ( not that most of you dont know that, i just like to say the word 'labbyrinth' lol) I went off on a petsmart worker who wouldnt poke holes in the lid of the cup no matter WHAT i said because " fish breathe in the water" I almost slapped her!

Haha, those up turned noses makes them look vain as if they say; "Tut tut, don't want to bask in the glory that is me? Then you shall not get my attention for a week!"
Then you get the ones that are like; "Well heck, who cares how I look? OMG mommy brought worms! *beg*"

I agree with you Esareh, they're quite the little fish in looks and personality.

Auro is like that!!! He looks SO regal and special and almost royal in those colors of his and the way he carries himself! He looks so gracefull! but when i get out the blood worms he shoots around and smack his head on the divider! gracefull my butt! Then sometimes my cat gets into my room and thier ALL like "na na na nana you cant get me!
