well, with eggshells, you clean them off, and put them into your filter or something....Im not 100% sure, Ive never used them.

you can also use crushed coral or liquid calcium....theres something else too, but i cant think of it right offhand...

I think everyone prefers the liquid calcium....its the best source for hte snails, easiest to give, and lasts forever(bottle is big in comparison to how much you need to use)

I would spring for that...its in the saltwater section of petstores...maybe $5 i think thats about what i paid for mine....its called Kents Marine Liquid Calcium

you can also make snail food, theres recipies on applesnail.net and stuff...theres also sellers on there that sell already made snail food that has allt he calcium you need...ive bought them a few times, and they loooooved them!

You can make your own snail food if you want, but it's a big effort and it stinks up the kitchen. sad.gif

When I had eggshells I would grind them up and plop them in. It wasn't pretty but it was all right, even though it didn't work very well at all.

I love love love liquid calcium. I swear by it. Ok maybe that's a little extreme, but I would totally get it if I were you. I think you can order it online too.

Do you have any cuttlebone? Most people don't have cuttlebone sitting around, but just in case you have a bird..
