I just wanted to let everyone know, that on June 30th, there is this pond shop that is doing a free class on how to build large ponds. Today when my fiance went and got me a pond plant, they told him all about it. If anyone is interested, and lives in the Vancouver, Washington area, you can PM me and ill send you the info on it. Im pretty excited about it. Were building a large pond this summer, and thought it would be really fun to learn how to properly build it...

That sounds cool. If you get one, then you could get alot of plant and more fish.

Ill for sure let everyone know how it goes. We have already decided were building a big pond this summer, so this how to class will be alot of help.

Oh, that sounds so cool - and important to know how its done before trying yourself. I know - its easier to correct any "mistakes" when its an above ground pond, but one you dig that hole in the ground, and have done the lining and whatnots, its nearly impossible to correct any plumbing things or anything that could have been improved upon later.

Most importantly - bottom drains!
