Hey everyone as you know im moving at the end of the month,
and i really need to make my pond soon... Im overstocked inside and my
fish are getting sick sad.gif , well i was planing on making a 300 gallon pond.
I was wondering if i can buy one of those pond kits with the liner, and pump.
Do you think they would sell a liner big enough in a pond kit for 300 gallons?

Where exacly should i put the pond, right now we don't have any grass or
trees or plants or anything out side. Should i wait until where finished with that
before i even think about a pond?

Thanks,

Alex

In my experience people tend to plant around the pond, after the pond is built. About your other questions I have noe idea crap.gif sorry sad.gif

Yup, you can get pretty good sized pond kits. Check out the ones at Dr Foster & Smith, they will give you some idea of what sizes at least.

I'd do the landscapeing after you put the pond in so you can work out from there and it will give you a basic idea of what you'd like to see where, take a section at a time. A battle plan on paper allows for changes also.... biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif alright ill have to go check stuff out,

Kathy- I also would think that building a pond first and building around it
would be best, i don't have any grass on the land either.... its all dirty.

Anwyays ill look around get prepared before i move into the new house ect,
Thanks again,

Alex

biggrin.gif Having a new house is all to your benefit Alex. Chances are digging the pond will be quite easy because of all the digging they did to put the House up! It's much easier doing it this way than having to dig up grass/plant's etc...with all those roots! wink.gif Looking forward to the pond pics. It's been a long time coming!
