Actually, since guppy babies (unlike other livebearers) head for the top of the tank, you will really need floating plants, but just in case (as you may get what I call an "oddball" spawn) you might get the weaker ones heading for the bottom, so it is best to get both floating and normal, bottom dwelling plants. The floating plants will also help diffuse the light, which will mean less stress for the female.
You may need to adjust your temperature, between 79-82F is best for a pregnant guppy as the weakest of the fry are also more likely to survive in a higher temp.

Wow, congrats. Mine just had more but they were all eaten... which is ok with me cause the last time she had babies they all were deformed.
Raith
yeah if mine were deformed ive got to get rid of them. theres just too many right now, im just leaving them there hehe. xD!

How are your fry doing?

My other female is laying more right now, I cant watch though cause I wanna save them all and I know I cant
Raith
i had so many i couldnt count. and theyre doing good, plenty of food + some j. moss = the adults dont bother them at all. plus, they have worms to harass. :]
