You haven't had it set up for very long. Is it like pea soup? Sometimes though the pond will get sort of cloudy. Not sure why it happens but in even an established pond they aren't perfectly clear 100% of the time.

Our pond was cloudy even before we took the fish out. That's things falling from the trees, don't know what to do about it. Rain has been pouring today but it didn't help. mad.gif I'm going to buy something to have in the water.

(It's not green!)

mucky/pea green/dirty water is not really bad for fish. Fish don't mind the water being dirty (usually your the params are still the same), it is us who like clear water so we can see them.

as posted above new ponds usully dont clear 100% for anything up to a year. and then you still get times when they are not clear - mine gets worse when it rains.

if you want you can try some treatments like pond zyme or something smile.gif

My husband doesn't mind the green water at all.In fact,he loves it blink.gif He says something about it being good to fish.Well they're his fish after all so I can't do anything about the water biggrin.gif I was just worried that it could harm the fish. Thanks again..
