Im thinking of making a rocky out crop out of seashells, smooth river rocks, and glas half marble thingys. Only, im thinking of making a boxlike area with holes in in (im thinking of plastic beads?) with an airstone in it. any Ideas?

I woldnt use seashells if I were you....can muck with your PH and stuff...

Definatly watch out for seashells, they decompose rapidly in aquariums. As for the half marble idea, very cool! But it did remind me of one thing that I figured I'd mention here. My aunt once put half a billard ball in her aquarium. It released chemicals that killed all her fish in a few days!
Just thought I'd put that out as a warning, in case anyone else has the same idea!
