I've read around the forum that some people dont feed their fish three days after a water change....does it cause the fish stress if you feed them just before or after a water change?

I feed mine about 2 hours after a water change or 2 hours before.....It doesnt really matter hun

I haven't heard that before. I feed mine morning and evening, same as always.

The only reason I can think of for this is if you stirred up some gunk from the gravel and wanted to wait for it all to settle back down or get filtered out so the fish wouldn't mistake it for food.

Though mine do anyway, whether I'm feeding them or not. My babyfry Carrot likes to chase poo around the tank. I think she may not be all there upstairs...
