I just added a bubble wand curtain thing but the bubbles seem to be coming out way fast. I have only ever had small airstones so I'm not too sure what my wand should be doing. there are lots and lots of bubbles coming out at a high speed but my fat fishies seem to like them. So is it ok?

If it really bothers you, you can tie a knot in the air line. That should slow the air down a bit.
I'm not sure if you can have too many bubbles... ?

You can turn the pump down alittle bit, but normally fish likes to play with it it's like a roller coaster lol

Oh yes, it's okay. Goldfish like the bubbles and will swim through them and play in them. The current the air creates should be okay as long as you have some plants and ornaments in the tank to create some calm spots. The oxygen is good for the fish. But, if you feel it is way too strong you can buy a valve that fits on the tubing; they are inexpensive and you can adjust the airflow this way.

If I am not mistaken, there should be a gang valve on the end that should allow you to throttle the air flow a bit...my wand has this, but the one I purchased before the current did not.

A gang valve? Is it the see-thru plastic thing in the middle of the 2 tubes? if yes that is the valve stops the water flows up into the pump..
Does your airpump have a control switch that can switch the rate of the pump?

Podgy, the gang valve I have hangs on the back of the tank, you connect your air line tubing to it and there is a little knob that you can adjust the air flow with.
The see through plastic thing your speaking of could be the device that prevents the water from backing up into the pump. I'm not sure, would have to see it.
I also have a valve on my 10 gal. It is a small plastic thing that fits inbetween the tubing and it has a very small knob to adjust the air flow. I imagine there are all different kinds.

Queenie, Yes the see-thru plastic thing i have is some valve that prevents the backflow of the water, but on my airpump i have this switch that can turn down/up the pump rate...

I hope you can't have too many bubbles. I am running two filters on my 29 gallon tank...soooooo... I have bubbles churning around where the water pours in from the filters A N D I have a long bubble wall.
I think my Goldies like it!!
(There are places they can get that isn't churning constantly)

I'm sure they do like it Jeana. Just as long as they have a calm spot for them to rest in. They do like the bubbles and the current and they are strong swimmers.
