krazy.gif I have been setting up my new 60 gallon tank for what seems like forever now! krazy.gif

I bought a Bio Wheel 350 (the biggest I could find at my local petstore) on the consistent recommendation of everybody here at Koko's! I was just wondering
(other than the a UV sterilizer I'm saving for...), is there another filtration system I should think about getting??? I've noticed that a lot of people here have paired their Bio Wheels with other things; Is that a necessity or preferance? I currantly have two little inch long orandas (Freckles and Einstein) and a two inch black moor (Darth Vader), and am planning on getting at least two more goldies possibly three but we'll see.... ANY suggestions are welcome. I want this home to be wonderful for my fishies, and I have done so much research I would hate to miss something important! Thanks everyone!

Biowheels are great filters, have one myself. And as long as it does 10 times the filtration you should be all set.
Example a 60 gal tank, your filter should do 600 gal of water an hour. I am not sure what the 350 does. IF it doesn't do that much adding another filter of the same can bring up the filtration.

I am not sure but I don't think having 2 different types of filtration has any benefits..........correct me if I am wrong.

It's for up to a 75 gallon it says. So does that mean I should get another one?

What the box on a filter says doesn't really apply to goldies. Yes for a 60 gallon tank you should get one more.

The bio wheel 350B does 350 gallons per hour, meaning it cleans your tank about 6 times, and you need 10-15 times. I would get another 350, or maybe an Emporer 400. They both will work great.
