One of my fishies died.... I have a tank with four tetras and 2 dwarf puffers, and they had come down with ick awhile ago. Ive been treated with salt, and all the fish have been doing great. No more white spots, but im treating for 21 days with salt. Well on saturday, I wolk up to a dead tetra, and barely anything was left of him. Im not sure what happened. he was the only one who never got any spots either.

whoa! 21 days? that sure is a lot. poor fish, better luck next time. ich attacks when the fish is stressed. :[

i know when ick attacks. i have two puffers in my tank, and they recommend treated them with 1 tbs per 5 gallons for 21 days, and 50% water changes every other day.

if i get another, it wont be for awhile. I want to make sure all my other fishies are healthy.
