My guppy had babies and after about a week some of the fry started to get bent backs, only about 3 or 4 of them. I know I should cull them but I just cant bring myself to do it after getting attached to them. Is it painful to them to have their backs like that or will they eventually die from it? If they are gonna have a painful death from it I will bring myself to cull them but if not I would like to just let them alone.

no, it is not painful to them. but your deformed fry could create disease which can ultimately wipe out your entire tank.

Hmm well I guess thats a good reason to cull them then huh? Maybe I'll just put them all in their own tank, I have a spare one. I just really dont wanna cull them

best of luck, qT them in another tank is better. someone lost all their first because deformed fry can easily have disease.
