I bought two oto cats friday. I have read many posts here and there about oto cats latching on to goldies but people always seemed to think these otos were not well fed. One of the otos took less than 1/2 a day to start chasing and latching on to the other fish even his fellow oto. He was very well fed with the brown stuff all over my tank, zucchini, and algae tabs. I gave him 2 days of close observation before I took him back. The other oto is very sweet and a great cleaner. I just wanted to share with everyone that sometimes it really is an aggressive personality. If he was hungry, it was because he spent more time chasing fish than eating.

I must say though, my tank seems much less interesting now that he's gone.

I am sure though all the other roomies were glad to see him go.
