Does anyone know or have access to extra test tubes for testing water. I am a clutz and have broken nearly all my tubes. I have looked at all the lfs and none of them sell just the tubes. I would have to buy a whole kit just for one tube and I don't need a the chemicals. I know that there are replacements (Aquarium Pharmaceuticals box of 24) but not available in Alaska, and many online places will not ship here either. Can anybody help or know where to find them.

Sorry, im not sure where up there you could get any. I know petsmart here sells them, like a pack of 4 or something like that. LOL, dont feel bad though, ive also broke a few. it can be frustrating!

If you can't find ne let me know I would be happy to go to our lfs and buy them for you if you would trust them shipping there???

I can never find any at my LFS, either. I'm down to one right now. And I guard it with my life!

We're so advanced up here we got a Petco in September. But even still they have a limited variety of products. I have looked online at Petco and Petsmart but they don't carry them.

If you found them in Washington maybe I can see if my cousin can ship me some. Course I highly doubt that she would understand what I want. She thought I was crazy for owning goats.

I guess I'll keep looking around. It is difficult to test four tanks with only two tubes,

Ok I just check the last place I could think of and they didn't have the test tubes. So Froggydella I will take you up on your offer if it still stands. Though I will be away from my computer till Sunday night. Maybe then we can figure out how to get in touch with each other.

Oy.. well they ship to Alaska from what I can tell.

But the 24 pack is 9.99 and standard shipping was over 7 bucks! Thats.. insane to me. But I did it cause I need them. I know its just standard shipping, but for more then half the cost of product, that package better teleport here sometime within the next two seconds.

Yes, I would still like the test tubes. I can't find them up here and many of the online stores charge an extra fee on top of the shipping. So it would probably be cheaper for you to send. I have sent you an email.

The tubes that come with the tetratest kits are acrylic, and they dont break, but they appear to give false readings because the acrylic makes the color appear much darker. So I guess it's better to use glass ones....
