Hi Sasha...First, WELCOME to this TERRIFIC site!! I was so lost when I found this wonderful site of "Koko's". I have learned sooooo much here. Those who post here are so gracious and very helpful.

Second, I am by NO means any kind of expert on Goldfish, but, my little Angel Baby heartpump.gif (different from my Miracle Baby in another post) is still alive and doing OK!! When I looked by at this post, I was surprised at how long I've been caring for her.

She still has the swim bladder problem, ill.gif but I have her in her own tank and I've added two small albino catfish. They give her a lot of company and are very gentle around her.

I still put one half of the antibitic pills in her tank once a week. I also feed her antibiotic pellets. You have to soak them a lot because they float. I had to get them to sink as she never comes to the top of the water. I still hand feed her strained baby food peas and occasionally add mashed tuna. She keeps her head to the ground, but plays a bit with the cats. All of her fins are looking healthy (no more shredding or blood in the fins).

I don't know if she will ever recover from the swim bladder problem (most that I talked with have said she would never live past a couple of weeks and she's proved them all wrong!). But, she eats, swims and seems happy.

Be sure that you keep the tank as clean and clear as possible.

Let me know what kind of fish you are dealing with here and how it progresses.

I wish you lots of luck and keep checking here at Koko's...you will learn a lot!! krazy.gif
