Well i got home today and i noticed a bunch of little eggs on the floor of my tank. I've read about breeding and i know some basic info about it. I know that my fish will eat the eggs and i noticed that they were. So, i set up a 3 gallon tank(with only 6 inches of water in it) without a filter and scooped up the gravel with the eggs, i left about half the eggs in the origanal tank because i didn't know if the air would kill them. So, heres the situation, i have the 3 gallon tank with half the eggs in it and a 35 gallon with the other half of the eggs and my 6inch female and 5 inch male. the question is, what do i do? will my eggs actually hatch? will the air have killed them? do i need a larger tank?

Any thoughts and tips on breeding and raising my eggs to fish will be apreciated, thanks

Your eggs hatching will depend on whether or not they were fertilized by the male. As far as a larger tank goes, if the eggs do hatch, you will soon need a larger tank as the little ones grow quickly.
