I was wondering if i can put 2 mollies, 2 guppies, and one male betta in a ten gallon tank becuase the food that i am feeding them is a tropical mix and it says great for bettas right one the label and i mixed that will tropical pellets, and goldfish pellets, and goldfish flakes. I do not have the guppies yet but i am planning one getting some.

Guppies and male bettas are not a good choice, since bettas will sometimes harrass the guppies long fins. It is best to not put male bettas in with other fish with long finnage.

it depends on the attitude of the betta. some people have nice bettas that got along with guppies, while others just bullied and killed them. mollies and guppies are perfect, they can interbreed.

What does interbred mean?
I am stupid when it comes to breedign, but i most be doing something right becuase i have a baby molly now!!!

it means a molly and a guppy can have kids. if you want a molly strain, have the dad be a guppy and mom be a molly. many colors!

you will have to be careful about stocking levels. i think you may be over your limit as it is.
of course i cant stop you buying them so buy whatever catches your eye.

Guppies.com did not really have any pictures and i want pictures and names becuase i am trying to decide becuase i want to get some cool ones and i want to breed them becuase i have people who want some baby fish and we have 2 other fish tanks!

Are you saying that if i get a male guppy, the female molly will breed with him and i will have part molly and part guppy babies?

Definitely have a backup plan if the betta and the guppy don't get along. I had a betta in with two guppies, and he was fine until the female died, and then for some reason he starting attacking the male. I think the female was chasing the betta off!

I am not placing a betta in the ten gallon, i might put a betta in the little one gallon fish tank!
