i was thinking about getting a rubber pleco and i was curious if anyone has ever had one with goldies and if they got along okay (no slime-coat sucking)

I have two bristlenose plecos in with my 3 goldies in a 55 gallon. They get along with the goldies. They only get about 5 inches. I wouldnt recommend a comon pleco though. They can get very large, and attack your goldies, and even harm their slime coat and what not. Also rubberlip plecos (I believe thats what their called) are also safe with goldies. Although my bristlenoses arent the most attractive thing (they;ve grown on me and I love them now) they do an awsome job with the algea, and dont mess with my live plants.
