Anyone know of some small/medium-sized tropicals with long lifespans? From most of my reading, it seems that most small tropical fish only live 1-3 years.

fishprofiles.com should give you what you want. usually livebearers die at a young age, 1-4years or so.

That is a great site. Unfortunately, many of the species' pages have a blank entry for the lifespan field. But what's even worse is that I do not see a search field for lifespan, and I certaintly do not wish to manually traverse each species! smile.gif

I wonder if theres a similar site with a search ability for lifespan?

Excellent sites! I'm impressed by the lifespan of the cichlids--up to 18 years!
