The directions on the coppersafe box do not say weather to leave in or take out the carbon from the filter. For all you chem majors out there, what is the correct way to use this product? Carbon in or out?

If memory serves me correctly from when I used the coppersafe.. the directions in the packaging say if the carbon is more then 6 days old, then its okay to leave it in, otherwise it needs to come out. If you're in doubt, probably just take it out.

Carbon out!!!!!!!!! The carbon is used to remove alot of meds after treatment, including Coppersafe!!!
