I don't know where to post this, I know it's not a gf but it's not tropical either, 2 days ago I noticed a lump on my loaches head. ill.gif It's about 1 inch down it's head and is about 1cm long and about 5 mm high, just wondering if this can happen when they get on a bit, I don't know how old he is because I was given it with a tank about 18 months ago. He is acting ok, it doesn't seem to bother him. It's not very nice to look at though.

I can't put a pic on, haven't got enough posts, If I put it in my album can you see it? I'm not really up on this yet. Or I can email it direct if it's easier.

A far as I am aware they can go in tropical tanks but need to start out in a cold tank, I may be wrong, maybe they are like wcmm.

It's hard to tell as the pictures are kinda blurry. It appears to be the same colour as it's skin.. as if it's a lump under it's exsisting skin. Is this right? Or is there discolouration?

Sorry about the pics, I forgot to resize them before I sent them. It is definitely under the skin, and in the last few hours it has started to look very red under the skin. Any ideas what it is, I know he's as ugly as sin but I love him all the same. heartpump.gif

Just to let you all know, my lumpy loach is getting better biggrin.gif it's very strange, it got worse for a few days and now it's nearly gone but is still a bit red under the skin.
